A Word A Week Photography Challenge: Flower

Fortunately, there’s a few flowers that seem blissfully unaware that it’s fall here.

There is a wildflower tucked in the undergrowth in a nearby field.

A couple of day lilies sit in a bed of fallen leaves a the top of the street.

A single viola still shines out from a planter on my deck.

So many questions.. Why white, why curled — and can one imagine the Lord working on the prototypes for each and every, and engineering in the changes He planned from climate? There is something so personal about veins in anything, and in yellows, and purples.. ah, perhaps I’m channeling Bob Ross! These are truly beautiful, and a joy to behold.

  6. Lovely words and imagery! Flowers blissfully unaware …
